A relocation management company approached IOR Africa with an issue their client is facing, a manufacturing company.  The company required a cost-effective support for more than 100 short-term assignees (STA’s) inbound from Europe.  The Company was short on the means to handle temporary housing, settling-in and other services (and had no or a very limited budget for the STA’s.

Working closely with the RMC (Relocation management company), we allocated a two-hour webinar addressing the key challenges for settling in and swiftly to work and stay in the host city and the U.S.  This webinar was followed by 4-hour Service email and phone support with native speakers.

Results

Thankfully, the solution our company came with efficiently reduced the cost -burden on the company if they were to hire a human resource support for the STA’s.  Moreover, the program helped employees to receive huge support for their short-term assignments.
